I don’t have a set-in-stone fee system. I charge as little as zero for a question I can answer without research required, to $1.00 a word for major works. Sometimes, it’s not about the word count. It’s the content.
If you approach me with a project that I really like, we talk.
We discuss what you really need–simple proof work for grammatical goofs, punctuation, and spelling–or a full throttle edit with changes tracked and comments which you may reject or accept.
I deduct an automatic 20 percent discount from my fee for 501(C)3 not-for-profit agencies.
Start by sending me an e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) and tell me when you’d like a ten minute free phone consult. I’m usually available by phone, Sunday through Wednesday between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM Pacific Time. I need to know when to expect your call.
I ask only one favor: if your number is blocked or will show up on my screen as “unknown,” please leave a voicemail message, unblock your number, send me a text, or stick with email. I will be happy to call you back!
N’oubliez jamais (ah, yes je parle un peu de francais aussi): all of life is a lesson. That’s why physicians call their business “my practice.”
GOOD GRAMMAR IS SEXY!
